Volvo V40 rated top for small family car safety in 2013
The safety offered by the Volvo V40 shows how far the car industry has come in the past few years. The car provides crash protection that is better than many larger cars. There is also a wide range of accident prevention technologies.
Volvo’s selection as best in class by Euro NCAP is particularly impressive when you consider the other new cars tested by the organization at around the same time. Buyers in 2013 can choose from a Mercedes-Benz A-Class, a new generation VW Golf, its sister model the SEAT Leon as well as the latest Ford Focus.
All offer five-star safety and high levels of additional safety equipment. The V40 betters them by taking a holistic approach to safety.
